A family legacy of hospitality.
Enjoy a local, family-owned alternative to big-chain hotels.
Warmly owned and operated by the Eves family since 1973, this roadside motel and historic gathering place harkens back to both the heyday of midcentury Americana and the midwest’s stagecoach roots.
In 2001, Sandy and David Eves renovated and relaunched the property as Kirkwood Inn, seamlessly blending design elements from the original 1970s motel with the heritage craftsmanship of the refurbished Historic Kirkwood House (c. 1799).
David A. Eves passed away in 2008 leaving the legacy of Kirkwood Inn to his wife and family. Today, Sandy Eves and her children—David Eves Jr., Kristina Eves and Andrea Eves—continue to embrace and build upon the long-standing tradition of providing comfort and warm hospitality to guests.
